Kait picked up that Star Wars dress at Hot Topic. She'd "never shopped there before in [her] life," she said, but she walked by and she "was like 'oh shit!' and it was on sale for $16." "I'm 27," she added. "I don't know if I should be shopping there." The jean jacket is Forever 21. She's been gradually "adding shit to it," "slowly but surely working it" into something truly unique. "And this," she told me, "is my good ol' fanny pack. [I'm] bringing it back." In fact, she is starting her own line of custom fanny packs. Brand name yet to be determined. The boots, of course, are some beat up old Doc Martens. "Good for bartending 12-hour shifts," she said. Kait describes her style as "spontaneous." "I actually make a lot of my stuff like ten minutes before I go out," she said. "That is a great skill to have," I told her. "I wish I had it."
