Irena, Sansom St, Philadelphia

Irena is a choreographer from Germany. She was in town for the Fringe festival when I stopped her. In this image, she's wearing boots from Wanted. She's not sure of any of the other brands. "I just find them," she says of her clothes, especially on various sojourns she takes to Italy. "I love colors," Irena told me, but she hardly needed to. There's more spatter and sparkle in this look than in just about all the other photographs I've taken combined.
