Philadelphia Street Style: Torre, Walnut St
"Most of the time I'm in suits," says Torre, "the rest of the time, I'm a hippy." His hat and glasses are both thrifted. That pashmina scarf he picked up in NYC. His jacket is Diesel. His shirt is Suitsupply. His pants are old Ralph Lauren. His shoes are Puma. He's listening to a lot of deep house these days, largely underground stuff. He's also digging some experimental jazz, like Robert Glasper's recent rendition of Nirvana's "Smells like Teen Spirit." We talked about Big Rube, whose a friend of his, and Philly's street style scene, still small, but steadily growing.
