At some point in the not-so-distant past, models, fed up with being constantly asked for their photos outside runway events, began making funny faces at the cameras. Some of these appeared on Vogue.com and other repositories of high fashion street style, and it quickly became a thing. Now photographers often ask models to make funny faces at them. In the case of supermodel Cara Delevigne (bottom photo — i.e. the only one not making a face in these pics), photographers mob her from all angles, calling out insistently "Make a face for us, Cara!" What began as a small act of resistance has become a new requirement of the job.
I loved her faces. She looks like she's genuinely not having fun here.
