Models Off Duty? Back of Backstage at Lincoln Center

When exactly is a model off duty? When she steps off the catwalk? When she goes for a smoking break? When she's out walking her dog on a crisp New York Saturday? And if she is out casually strolling with Rover, far away from the runway, and is then stopped and photographed by that guy from Altamira, is she still off duty? In the era of ubiquitous photography, is she ever really off duty? There is almost an ontological question at play here. Is it possible to capture a model off duty at all? Or once photographed as a model off duty is she, in fact, back on duty?
